Collection and Drop Off
Sphere provides responsible collection and processing of e-waste. We can provide personalised service and in tandem with our trust partner network. You will receive an order number and allocated a time for pick up. We require prior notification about contamination and any loose batteries.

Received
Upon arrival at our recycling facility, all electronic waste (e-waste) is weighed using calibrated scales to ensure accurate tracking and identification within our system.

Triage
During the triage phase, it is essential to remove batteries, large plastic items, and steel components. We recommend that you pre-sort your e-waste prior to delivery, which includes unpacking items and removing any large plastic bags, small boxes, or coverings.

Size Reduction and Separation:
A significant portion of the materials we process can be repurposed within the circular economy. Our strategic partnership has enabled us to leverage cutting-edge technology that achieves nearly 100% diversion from landfills.

Repurposing Assets:
One of the most effective forms of recycling is the reuse of items whenever possible. We are committed to enhancing our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services to facilitate the reintroduction of discarded laptops into the economy. In many cases, these devices can be utilized for social impact, helping to bridge the digital divide for those in need. If devices are diverted through to our ITAD services, all data will be removed from drives using world renowned software.

Reporting:
Upon completion of the settlement process, our clients receive a comprehensive audit report detailing a reconciled balance of weights categorized by material type. In this way, our clients can demonstrate to their stakeholders how they have achieved their sustainability goals for e-waste by partnering with Sphere.
